Will Driver consume all my battery/data?

When recording with Driver, it is working on many different tasks, especially when using features like Dual Camera mode and Forward Collision Warnings which will consume more battery and cause higher heat output. We recommend charging your phone while using the Driver app. A cable is the preferred method over wireless charging as it generates less heat, allowing your phone to perform better.

Driver can function with zero or very little data usage. Users uploading their trips to the Driver Cloud can use wifi to avoid heavy data usage or over cellular data if preferred. This can be configured within Driver settings.
